Getting Started

I had my blog set up on Myspace but, this way more folks can read it if they want. I have my coupons in a large three ring binder that also zips and has pockets on the inside and out and an accordion file attached to the outside. I use dividers to organize my coupons in categories. I store my coupon by using baseball/business clear card holders. Each page has 9 pocket on it. You can find these pages at Walmart or an office supply store. I keep two pencil bags. One of them holds coupons that I find while I am out and about. The other I use for storing coupons that I pull out while shopping so, that when I need to checkout they are all right there. My catagories are as follows: HBA, Cleaning, Pet, Baby, Paper, Cold/Frozen, Drinks, Snacks, Canned and Boxed, Sauces and Spices. That is not they way it has to be done just what works best for me. You can have more or less. The accordion file on the outside contains categories for Store coupons (CVS, Walgreens, Target, mall type stores etc..) Restaraunt, sales ads, rain checks trade forms prescription coupons (all three are in the same file) ECBS Catalinas RR (all of these in the same file. I keep a calculator, pen, small pad of paper in one of the other pockets. Yes, my book can get really heavy at times lol

    Way to go. I went to store a while a go. Of course, I didn;t have the double or triple coupons at Brookshires, But I still saved $23.19. That is sales items, card & the few coupons I had. Yea!!!

    Hey, that is great, I know that sometimes Brookshires will double coupons but, I wish they would all the time

    Alecia do you hath to have a card at wags or do they just print coupons out at the register for you?I think the termology would be RR. Are they automatic when you buy something? Linda Denmon

    No, you don't get a card at walgreens at least for now, there have been rumors that they may go to a card like CVS has. In the sales ads it will tell you what products will print RR. There are times that certain products will triger coupons to that will print.

    I went to Broookshire's yesterday. I had 2 Barbeque coupons @ 75 cents and 1 @ 35 Cents
    They tripled the 35 cent one so I got $1.05 off that coupons. The barbeque sauce was on sale for 78 cents. So I got three bottles of sauce for free with 21 cents left to go on something else. I had other coupons for paper towels and tp. The tp coupon was doubled but not the paper towels. With the loyalty card I ended up saving close to $24.00. FREE BQ SAUCE YEA!!!! I AM LEARNING!

    You did GREAT!!!! The first time you get free stuff or they pay you to take stuff is a top of the world feeling!!! I am hoping for better sales ads starting tomorrow

    HELP!!!! ECB AT CVS. HOW DO YOU USE THEM?
    ALSO,I GOT MY NOTEBOOK. HOW DID YOU SECTION THE COUPON PART OF THE BOOK. I WROTE THE FRONT PART, RESTAURANT COUPONS, ETC. BUT I DID NOT WRITE THE ORDER OF THE STORE COUPONS.
    I HAVE SO MANY COUPONS AND MOST OF THEM DON'T EXPIRE TILL LATE JUNE OR JULY. MOST OF THEM ARE THINGS I USE BUT IT DOESN'T MEAN I WILL BUY NOW. THEY ARE JUST ON HAND IN CASE I NEED THEM. IS THIS WHAT YOU DO? LOVE & HUGS
